Fibreboard of wood (MDF) - of a density of 800 to 860 kg/m3, thickness which varies between 3 and 4 mm (with a tolerance of +/- 0.2) and measuring 2,440 x 1,220 mm. The product is manufactured by means of a dry process involving the following three stages : The wooden fibres undergo preliminary defibration; They are then bonded with ureic adhesives; They are compressed under high pressure and temperature. Fibreboard of this kind can be used for furniture (to manufacture bases, drawers or cupboards), or for divisions, walls or packaging
