Naočale omogućuju prilagodbu dioptrije i razmaka između očiju te imaju tipke za podešavanje.
Glavna funkcija uređaja je video prikaz leta drona u stvarnom vremenu na zaslonima ispred očiju korisnika. Uređaj je namijenjen prvenstveno uporabi tijekom upravljanja bespilotnim zrakoplovom (dronom). Uređaj se posebnim LEMO kabelom povezuje s upravljačkom jedinicom, pri čemu se istim kabelom prenose videosignal i napajanje.
