Ide o bezfarebnú kvapalnú zmes, ktorej hlavnými zložkami sú: 1,3-butadién (47,6 % hm.), i-butylén (20,5 % hm.), butylén (13,8 % hm.) a n-bután (7,9 % hm.), so zápachom charakteristickým po nenasýtených olefinických plynoch. Používa sa ako nástrek pre selektívnu hydrogenizáciu a následnú výrobu MTBE.
