The microspheres for targeted embolization are contained in a sterile pre-filled syringe of 20 ml and packaged in a peel-off lid, available in various sizes. Each syringe contains approximately 2 ml of microsphere material in a non-pyrogenic, sterile, saline solution. The total volume of microspheres and saline is 6 ml. Microspheres are intended for occlusion (occlusion) of vessels for therapeutic purposes in hypervascularized tumors, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia, peripheral arteriovenous malformations, seizure tumors, trunk and skeletal system, bleeding and trauma, and preoperative bleeding relief. The microspheres are implanted into the patient's body where they remain permanently. The microspheres are administered to the target site through the vessel at the lower extremity and are introduced into the lesion site under the control of the X-ray using a delivery catheter.^[1]
