Das Acoustic Panel soll dort als Innenverkleidung verwendet werden und dient sowohl zur Lärmdämmung als auch zur Absorbtion von elektromagnetischen Wellen im Flugzeug - Innenraum. Die Platte besteht aus Abdeckgeweben aus Kunststoff, zwei Abreißgeweben aus Glas, einem Wabenkern ( sog. Nomex Honeycomb Core) aus phenolharzbeschichteten Aramidpapieren (sog. Cormaster C1) zur Lärmdämmung sowie einem Bronzegewebe für die Absorbtion der Wellen. Im Hinblick auf die Verwendung, den Umfang und das äußere Erscheinungsbild bestimmt der Wabenkern aus phenolharzbeschichteten Aramidpapieren den Charakter der zusammengesetzten Ware. Die Ware weist aufgrund der neutralen Form weder Merkmale eines erkennbaren Flugzeugteils des ABS XVII noch liegt eine Ware des ABS XVI vor.
